Your practice visit during COVID

At Links Orthodontics we’ve worked closely with our colleagues in the Department of Health and NHS England to deliver the best quality care to our patients in a safe environment.

Your practice visit during COVID

How COVID-19 has affected our care

From the very beginning of the crisis in March 2020, we remained open to support our patients with remote triage, Zoom meetings and telephone support. We were not allowed to see people in the practice, but our teams worked tirelessly to offer support and help to all our patients.

We have started seeing patients for face-to-face visits, but to do so in a safe and healthy environment, we’ve adjusted our work patterns.

We have put special measures in place to protect the health and safety of staff and patients, which means we see less patients than normal each day.

Unfortunately this has meant some delays to appointments and some treatments are now taking longer to complete.

What will happen when I visit the practice?

If you are happy to come on your own, this would be best. If not, please only bring one other person with you. For their own safety, try not to bring any elderly relatives.

Please arrive at the time of your appointment to avoid unnecessary wait times. You may be asked to wait outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day.

You MUST WEAR A FACE MASK when you are in the practice and should use alcohol gel when you arrive and leave.

All our staff follow strict infection prevention protocols for all patients. Please don’t be worried if we are wearing masks or other protective equipment you have not seen before.
